An Islamic scholar and the chairman of Islamic scholars Abuja branch also a philanthropist Dr. Muhammad Muhammad Alkwandari has built two befitting office accommodations and donated to Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp, NSCDC Zamfara state command to be use as an outpost stations of the NSCDC Zamfara state command.
Speaking to newsmen shortly after commissioning the new donated office at his home town Ruwan Doruwa district under Maru local government area of Zamfara state Today, Dr. Alkwandari said, the other office he donated to NSCDC Zamfara state command was located at Hirada kwaddi in Tudun Wada area of Gusau the state capital respectively.
Dr. Alkwandari maintained that, the gesture was aimed at boosting the morale of the entire officers and men of NSCDC in the area and also ensure protection of lives and properties of the people in the two location.
He said, “by building the two outposts would help the NSCDC officers and men of NSCDC Zamfara state command to exercises their primary assignment conveniently and enhance security within the areas”.
He described insecurity challenges as global phenomenon as government alone can not curtail it, hence the needs for well to do individuals to assist in that direction.
Meanwhile, the state commandant, of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corp, Mr. David Abi in an intetview with newsmen while commissioned the new outpost of the command at Ruwan Doruwa town, louded the effort of the Islamic scholar, stressing that the project would go along way to ameliorate the deficit of office accommodations by the officers and men of the commanding the state.
Mr. David Abi then appealed to wealthy individuals in the state to emulate the Islamic scholar’s efforts and help the society and security agencies for peace to thrive in the state.
However, the Emir of Maru, Alhaji. Abubakar Chika Ibrahim, in his remark during the commissioning of Ruwan Doruwa NSCDC outpost donated by Dr. Muhammad Alkwandari, commended him for the project and urged wealthy individuals in the state to emulate him in that direction.
